i make this post at risk of it only being understood by the… 1? japanese person who visits my site :p. anyway, in order to apply for the JLPT, i had to take some forms to curtin uni. all good? on arriving at the education building, we decided to take the elevator close by.

Schindler… schindler… that name rings a bell. OH, that’s right, its the company which got bashed with front page headlines for almost a week over their horrible software which had bugs, but moreso after a person was killed in one (although it was mostly the person’s fault – who would reverse out of an elevator on a bike). シンドラ…　死ドラ?

i found that interesting anyways. and i’m still alive to tell the tale!

is about how i feel at the moment.  i really have a few posts that i want to make, but no time to do so .  but its not that bad! being busy = productiveness riight?

my orange msstyle was getting a bit too… bright? so i decided to swap to something cooler (colour wise).

i found this game today (well, i downloaded it at least 2 weeks ago.. just haven’t had time really). quite nicely made, but you end up spending 90% of the time waiting for the AI to move each of the on-screen mobs. ah well .

even though my modem doesn’t seem to be syncing higher than 4mbit, i do have some non-dialup internet once again!  ahh it feels good.

it would seem i found a use for pbook!  installing the hacked version of FrontRow proves quite handy in general – and by using synergy i can control it with a single flick of the mouse.  unfrotunately, the problem still exists that the osx itunes won’t read all japanese id3 tags .

it is in quite a dangerous position though.  i am scared that the vibrations of sound from the speakers below will be enough to send it falling on to my monitor :/.  will have to figure out a better system for keeping it up there later.
