3 bricked dslites?
November 12th, 2006well, close calls i guess. all went quite well and we have three successfully flashed dslites!
in the process, we did have to sacrifice 3 screwdrivers to remove a horribly distorted battery-cover screw… poor darksith!
the joys of ouendan in cooperative mode – up until now we had been playing the laggy versus mode, without being aware that there is a coop gameplay where you take turns at a number of riffs in the song. your scores are kind of added together and also scored separately at the same time – its really awesome, and best of all there is NO LAG! *spinning wheels flying around in head*
even darksith was getting in on the ouendan action!
lets move on to something more interesting – pokemon diamond/pearl. good to see our hero has got his hands on the latest in gaming systems… although, i don’t know WHY he would be going out on a pokemon catching journey when he could be spending his time getting more fmailiar with his wand. *shrug*
might be hard to see from this shot, but the world is actually perspective 3d! it is really a nice touch, and while i haven’t explore much of the world yet, this looks like a refreshing addition to a series which has been known to try the same thing again and again and…
the battle system is really nice – this is one game where the touch screen makes for a very useful interface. the speed i can choose my pokemon moves is exponentially lower now! there are also new battle transitions and cool stuff which i am yet to experience (i hope anyway). did i mention you can modify the reverb and filter on your pokemon’s battle cry?
