starfox and ro!
July 10th, 2006i feel like i have waay too many screenshots piling up that i need to do something with. just from games i’ve been playing lately. the ro hax i’ve always used to take screenshots works in any program, and is just so handy that i end up with thousands of shots from whatever i’m doing..
playing lylat wars/starfox64 brings back a lot of very good memories. i’ve never actually played past the 2nd lvl on an emulator before, due to how hard it is to control an arwing with the keyboard. but now i have my xbox360 controller, so that is no excuse!. i got up to venom in one shot, only losing 2 lives (damn starwolf on the second encounter…) but haven’t had the time to pass it yet.
the actual gameplay is just as good as i remember it being… there are so many different paths you can take throughout the game – both inside and outside the levels. i wasn’t able to stay on the uber path for the world map thing.. but i definitely want to try again! the underwater mission with the landmaster is really quite fun if you can get to it.
as for ro, i made a trip to the biolabs last week after tencho gave me a 1day pass (thanks 
). the 2nd floor is quite soloable with HL, but i’m really not sure how much exp it is worth. my dex felt soooo much higher than i remember it being!
doddler did warn me to put on me dokebi armour… lv30 JT hurts quite badly :s

oh in case anyone noticed, psrv was down for a couple of hours (more if you include the period i couldn’t ssh in), but is back in full working condition now. much thanks to p00ya for haxing it from its physical location :p. r0×0r
